ESTIMATOR (PENNSAUKEN)

Local Cherryhill Construction company is seeking an experienced person to work in the office and prepare framing material take-off on various projects. You must have construction experience and be able to read blueprints. Experience in wood framing is necessary; additional experience in metal framing is a plus. Experience using construction software is necessary. Experience doing framing hardware or drywall takeoffs is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • You should have excellent communication and written skills. Speaking English, be responsible to come to work every day
    (5 days a week) is critical.

  • You must have your own transportation.

  • Experience working with MS-Excel and Word.

  • A minimum of three years working with blueprints.

  • Prior experience working for a construction company is a plus.

  • Speaking Spanish is a plus.


Qualifications
Construction software currently in use.

  • On center product called on-screen takeoff and quick bid

  • Autodesk product called AutoCAD LT 2023


Office timings

  • Hours are Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm) with 1 hour lunch. Salary position, eight paid holidays; the company does not have an employee benefits plan.

  • Salary is based on years of experience.

  • This is a salary position, so no overtime is paid.

PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for a committed construction project manager to become part of our energetic team. In this crucial position, you will manage multiple construction projects, making sure they reflect our goal of delivering outstanding service and adaptability to our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.

  • Develop project schedules and budgets while ensuring adherence to timelines.

  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.

  • Prepare and present project proposals and updates to stakeholders.

  • Utilize construction management software for effective project tracking.

  • Facilitate communication between team members and clients to address any issues promptly.

  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a construction project manager or similar role.

  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Pro-core, Field Wire, and Construct Connect.

  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating and budgeting processes.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and construction site regulations is preferred.

  • Time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
